Hello, I have a laptop with Windows 7 on it that has been hanging on me the last couple of days for no apparent reason. This usually seems to happen while on the internet and then while on a stock-trading website, but not always. I have to restart the computer or wait half an hour or an hour. I'm restarting over and over. I did not install anything immediately prior to this problem starting. I took the computer to Office Max and they scanned it and couldn't find any virus. I tried to do a System Restore but it came back unsuccessful. What should I try next? I'm thinking a factory reset, a clean reinstall of Windows, or an upgrade to Windows 10. How likely would an upgrade to Windows 10 be to fix such a problem? I know that it's difficult to tell from the information I'm giving but is it even possible that an operating system upgrade can fix such things or do you need to erase the old system? Please help Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the Internet References: www.cnet.com/forumAnimated Overview Video
